The Last One Standing

Romney Santorum Split Iowa
While watching the republican election I found interest in one candidate. The candidate that I found interesting was Mitt Romney. He is the candidate who is winning the election so far. When the race for republican presidential election first took place the candidates were Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum.
Throughout the race a lot believed Santorum was going to win and some had high hopes for Romney. Personally I had high hopes for Romney because he seems experienced and determined to win.
Mitt Romney seem like he cares about the people and seems like a hardworking man. I find that important because we do not want a weak and lazy president. We want someone who can control the government and be able to enforce rules.
A good republican candidate will be able to handle and pick up were president Barack Obama left off. As a candidate especially Romney he should be ready to face harsh and good things that are about to happen once you reach office.
Romney has to be ready for the racism, discrimination and bias actions he is going to face, when in the running to becoming a president in the United States.
“Something’s You Should Know.”
When it is time for presidential elections lot violence starts to take place. People real colors start to show for example racism problems starts to happen around the world. President Barack Obama has went thru a lot just become a president. He was also placed in a political cartoon. They would make his skin darker then what it was and over exaggerate his ears.
While running on the election to become a presidential candidate you have to be prepared and ready for anything. If I was a republican I would not mind Romney becoming the United States president. I am not saying I am against Romney but I do not support some of the republican beliefs.
According to my views Romney is a good republican candidate in Iowa I just believe Mitt showed more leadership skills and was prepared to go in and win all the votes on the polls.

Romney Just Might Be The Next President

Republican is a form of government, constitution, belonging to or characteristic of a republic. “A person advocating or supporting the Republican Party.” (google.com)
While reading the article “Could a mystery candidate for GOP race still emerge?” I noticed that the republicans are sure they have a chance at winning the presidential election.
The democrats only fear the Democrats had been for Romney to win in Iowa and New Hampshire. The article had states “not only ending the GOP nomination tight but quickly united this party behind a candidate who has constantly shown the greatest potential against presidential Barack Obama”. The article is saying that Mitt Romney just might be the person to remove Democrat Barack Obama out of office. Mitt Romney is working hard in these elections to become the next republican president of the United States.
In class the other day I learned about bias on the news. I saw a video that was created by Romney’s campaign about president Barack Obama. The video was interesting because throughout the whole video you heard the president’s voice.  If you were not paying attention it would have confused you. In the video the president’s words was getting used against him. I believe the video was a good example of bias and got a lot of republican’s attention.

"The Truth About Ron Paul.”

“Ron Paul may have officially come in third tonight, but if the campaigns caucus strategy went off as planned, that Paul may actually be the real winner of the first Republican voting contest.“Des Monies
“As a young boy, I didn’t know a Republican from a Democrat, only in one way: If some man or bunch of men rode up to the ranch to sit or stay all night, and father set me to watching’em all the time they was there—what they did and what they carried off – I learn they were Republicans.”notable quotes
Ron Paul was very organized and did a lot to earn his spot in the republican community. This also meant since Iowa republican caucuses are non biding which means it is kind of like pulling straws when election time comes. One thing people notice is that Ron Paul does not leave after the vote. When they stay and get elected to the conventions and get more delegates. The delegates make Ron Paul look stronger and will prepare him for the Tamp in the summer. Tampa Bay is where they are going to hold the 2012 convention. The convention will be held for the Republican Party.
By the way Ron Paul is a graduate from Duke University

“Such a conservative state”

See full size image
While reading msnbc’s article “Local GOP Reacts To Casus Results”. In the article they shared the vote for republican presidential candidate. The people had chosen Matt Romney to represent Iowa. Romney was eight points away from the former running mate Rick Santorum.  The article had stated "With Bachmann dropping out I would think a lot of those supporters would go to Senator Santorum," said Elsasser. "And with Rick Perry's showing, I'm not sure exactly what he's going to do but if he would happen to drop out then Santorum might pick up some of that support as well."  The article was saying since during the election Bachmann had Withdrawal from the race. That gave Santorum a better chance at winning and making it to the top. Instead of that happening he was beat by Matt Romney who was only eight points’ ahead. The race is not over for Romney yet because he has to go against the Republican Party that is two other states.
In conclusion the race is not over. We still have a few for days to pick a republican presidential candidate. Which means Romney is not finish working yet he should start doing more as a candidate to get views from the people.
